About us

Nestled in the shimmering folds of reality—where the edges of “here” and “there” meet—lies the enchanting village of Oakshire. A hidden haven of wonder and whimsy, Oakshire exists in a quiet pocket of the world, untouched by hurry or worry. Those who find their way here aren’t guided by maps, but by the kindness in their hearts. Only the gentle, the curious, and the kindhearted—be they humans, trolls, gnomes, elves, or even goblins—can cross into this magical realm.

Cobblestone streets wind past cottages with mossy roofs and painted shutters, glowing softly beneath lanterns filled with fairy light. At the heart of it all stands the Grand Oak—an ancient tree whose roots cradle the town and whose branches stretch toward the stars.

Oakshire’s residents are as varied as the treasures they bring. Trolls trade antique keys for stories. Elves craft melodies from moonlight. Gnomes tend gardens that bloom with laughter, while humans bake pies that taste like memories. Even goblins, often misunderstood, find friendship and purpose here. You might stumble upon a dinner party in a mushroom house or a tea kettle that talks back.

Everyday magic is woven into the town’s rhythm. Fairy doors wait patiently on tree trunks, inviting visitors from realms unknown. The forest hums with quiet secrets. And joy is found in the smallest moments—sharing a cup of honeyed tea, discovering a particularly shiny rock, or telling stories by the soft glow of a crystal lantern.

Oakshire has a way of healing. Time feels different—not slower, but fuller. Each moment holds meaning. And those who visit often find a bit of themselves they hadn’t known was missing.

Through the hands of artist Barrett Dodds, Oakshire comes to life in sculpture, story, and song. Every creation holds a thread of that magic—a reminder that whimsy, kindness, and a touch of fae light can make the world a little more wonderful.
